Tucked away on Calle Allende, Blind Tiger is an intimate craft cocktail bar built for slowing down: soft light, red velvet, a bar cut from a single slab of wood, and music kept low enough to hear the person across the table.
Behind the bar are nearly two hundred spirits — raicilla, mezcal, sotol and pox among them — and a ritual of our own: cocktails smoked under a wooden dome, an absinthe fountain, foams made to order.
The menu is discovered at the table and changes with the seasons. Pull up a seat, tell us what you like, and let the bar do the rest.

During Prohibition, a “blind tiger” was a hidden bar that skirted the law by charging admission to see a curious attraction — a blind tiger — with a complimentary drink on the side.
A century later, we keep the spirit alive: no password at the door, no crowds. Serious drinks in a room built for conversation.

Do I need a reservation?
No. Walk-ins are welcome. It's an intimate room, so for groups or to secure a spot on a weekend night, request a table or message us on WhatsApp. More →
What's the vibe, and is there a dress code?
Intimate, air-conditioned and made for conversation: the music stays low enough to talk. There's no password at the door — the speakeasy is in the spirit, not the entrance — though there are secret cocktails now and then that you only find inside. Come as you are; we'd just ask you to leave the beachwear at the beach.
Is there food, or alcohol-free cocktails?
Small bites to go with your drinks, and yes — zero-proof cocktails, made with the same care as everything else. It's not a restaurant; it's a cocktail bar with good snacks.
Anything else before I come?
Kids are welcome until 10 PM; after that it's 18 and over, the legal drinking age in Mexico. We take all major cards, American Express included, and cash in pesos or US dollars.
